I love everything but thanks to my work I do not have so much free time. I have been here for a really long time, just had different nick names (Akilus, Ginger, etc...) I'm Xin from China. Now I am a Physics PhD student in IUPUI in Indianapolis. I want to be a Physicist.
I like watching and playing sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and weightlifting.
I am a little bit lazy and nerdy. I am not good at cooking. Any my room is a bit messy.

Hi, I am Aurelia.
I'm here to work on my Mandarin some more besides textbooks.
I've been learning it slowly for 2 years, but only about 3 hours a week (If I attended all the classes though ), it is only one of my subjects at the university but I am planning to become better at it.
I'm studying international relations in English, Asian Studies specialization so I have more politics and economy than Mandarin
What else... I like open-minded and thinking people, sense of humour is greatly appreciated as well.

I’m rachel! I’m way too into sailor moon( I have her tattoo’d on my forearm) I joined a long time ago and met someone, but now I’m back to make some friends :’)
I’m living in Brooklyn, I have a pug and a morkie. Until recently I also had a Chinchilla. Totoro was the best.
I love anime and manga- junji ito is my favorite.
I love gifs and makeup just as much.
Strawberry calpico is my favorite drink and I’m a terrible cook. I’d love love love to meet some like minded friends. Even females, my inbox is open :’)

Hey.. I’ve been here before, but left, as I’ve been going through a lot and just needed to get away.
Thought I would come back and see how things go.
I really like the concept of this site. It’s a blessing for a lot of reasons.
For me personally, it’s really cool to have a place where other people with the same preferences can relate.
I live in small-town America, and there is no one here that I’ve met that understands my views concerning AMWF.
I wouldn’t say they are racist towards it- not at all.
But they just give you “the look”... you know, the blank stare because they have no idea why you feel the way you do or want what you want. Then it turns to an awkward-deer-caught-in-the-headlights kind of look, because they feel they need to say something in response, but have no clue what to say.
By then, I’ve completely given up hope of finding a kindred spirit, and go back to discussing the weather.
So yeah... that’s my reason, I’m a nutshell.

Hey, nice to meet you I’m Lana and I can relate so much to some of the stuff you said except I am a bit new to the site. I wouldn’t say you’re a nutshell!
I was surprised to find this site because I for one couldnt find anything to fit all aspects of what a lot of people want. People are really friendly and reach out very easily on here.
I also believe everyone has specific wants, or things they find themselves gravitating towards more despite if they think they do and I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing either. People are to sensitive to opinions and stuff of that sort. I found myself coming to this site originally yes because I have always had a specific interests, but I’ve also always been trying to find new people and things to talk about as I am interested in cultures, language, countries, and more.
the idea of networking is so amazing on this site and it’s really up their with the idea of finding a s/o or dating, etc.
